Barusan saya mengunjungi website portal software (freewarefiles.com dan win.softpedia.com), saya cukup terkejut menemukan freeware dengan nama:

Microsoft Download Manager

Awalnya saya ndak percaya, Microsoft membuat software download manager? yang bener nih... Mau terjun langsung nih ke persaingan para developer software free download management seperti FlashGet, GigaGet, Orbit, FDM dan lain-lain.

Menurut Microsoft tujuan dari dibuatnya MDM ini adalah untuk menghadirkan sebuah utility built-in utk Windows utk pengguna yang gemar mendownload file dari internet tanpa harus susah payah. Sepertinya kalau dari awal sudah terintegrasi di Windows XP/Vista/7 mungkin bakal lebih menarik.
